Fiordland penguin
Fiordland penguin is one of the seven grafted penguins. It lives mainly in the fjords of the south-west of the South Island of New Zealand and is one of the smallest penguins. The main threat to the species is small land beasts, such as rats, which were once introduced to the island by humans. There are only 5,000 breeding pairs left and the population is declining.
